Lucius sighed as he looked around the trophy room, looking at the many trophies in the room. He came upon one in particular of Tom Marvolo Riddle. The name rose pride in his heart, just knowing that the Dark Lord had actually walked among those halls. He smirked gently and ruffled his hair. He moved to a closed window and blew the dust off it, then opened it and let the warm, Autumn air hit his face like a relieving breath.
He sighed, looking down at the ground that laid so many feet below. He couldn't help but feel pathetic. He knew, being a pureblooded Slytherin that he was not so, but he felt like it because he had no love in his heart. Well, he certaintly had to take that back, didn't he? Narcissa was the love in his heart, but not in his arms. She wasn't there to be held lovingly in his arms and cuddled, was she? No. She didn't even know how he felt.

The days classes had come and gone, thank Merlin. She hadn't wanted to listen to another professors boring lectures. Would she really need any of the dang things they are teaching her once she graduated hogwarts? Narcissa herself highly doubted she would. She is after all from one of the wealthiest pure-blood families and would be some lucky blokes trophy wife right? She was highly sought after. Why, because she achieved perfection in the looks department. She wasn't some dweeby bookworm like her sister Andromeda, or the Queen of mean such as Bella.
Walking the halls of Hogwarts, she didn't know where she was going, but would end up where her feet decided to take her. She was looking for some peace and quiet. She was sick of the boys hounding her or the girls whom she swore just hung around her, because she is a black. Fake friends she must have a lot of those right? Popular by association. Her and her sisters hardly had anything in common and if you didn't know of them by name you would hardly think they were related. All of her relatives seemed so distant. Sirius was a blood rotten traitor to their name.
Another thing she wanted to get away from was him and his lackeys. They were pathetic and loved to prank people how childish. She maybe fifteen, but she was no way near as childish as he is or is she? Narcissa had walked down several halls and found herself wandering into the Trophy Room. So many trophies. Most of them were covered with a lifetime of dust. Cleaning of the trophies was one of the most favorite punishments. Something she wished never to endour. However she was not alone in this room. Lucius Malfoy another student of her house was occupying it.
Her Parents thought that he was a respectable young bloke and came from a fairly well family, but why would he be interested in her? Sure, she is beautiful and of a respectable family, but he would probably be happier with someone of his own age and class right? He seemed to be enjoy the days air threw the window. " Good Day Lucius. I didn't know you liked to come here." Perhaps he liked to come here to get away from all the foolish students non-sense as well. It was hard work being all prim and proper all the time.

Just as if, well as if magic had read his mind and somehow brought her there, trhere she stood. Narcissa Black, probably the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life. She was beautiful inside and out, and if other boys didn't see that then they surely were mental. He looked at her, trying not to show how fast his heart was beating at that moment. He was sure his pale complexion had immediately turned a gentle, blushing red. He cleared his throat gently, trying to figure up something to say.
Oh what was the use? She had caught him staring out the window mindlessly, which probably led her to the conclusion that he really was just another loser like the rest of the boys tying to win her over. But he wasn't, and he knew that completely. He really felt something strong for her, and basically had ever since they met during her first year. He bit his bottom lip softly, knowing he couldn't just stand there looking dumb. He probably already looked dense by staring at her, but he couldn't help it. She was so..perfect.
He let out a gentle sigh and faked a smile as he looked her up and down, nearing her with a gleam in his eye. "Hello Narcissa," he said softly. He was closer to her now, but had stopped walking about half-way to see if she would come to meet him first. If not, he'd go the whole way because he'd go the whole-way for her upon command or even just option. He smiled down at her from where he stood. Even from about five feet away, she was still quite shorter compared to him. This wasn't her fault, in fact, for her age and her being a woman and all. He looked at her with envy. Oh how he envied every boy who had managed to slip into her heart. He happened to feel bad for them as well, because those that had hurt her, had been hurt by him.

{{I am sorry I tend to ramble..}}
The autumn’s breeze had filled the Trophy room some dust off the trophy’s flying freely threw the room. She has attended Hogwarts for five yrs. This was her first time in this room. She wondered if her father had any trophies in here. He had attended Hogwarts and was in Slytherin as well. It seemed to be a family tradition. Which Andromeda and Sirius seemed to break, what traitors they were. Sirius more so then her sister thus far, but she was still in a house filled with vile mud-bloods and their diseases. Narcissa herself did not want to be tainted by their germs. She loved to be clean and rid of mud-blood stench. It was bad enough she had to have classes with those lesser then herself. Blood and Beauty wise. Why did they have to let mud-bloods in?
Lucius had said hello and seemed to walk closer, but stopped. Boy did he tower over her, but he indeed was older then herself as well. One of the most popular and respected Slytherin’s. Their families seem to have some get together’s each summer it is as if it is required for all the pureblood’s to have some kind of social gatherings, but sometimes they do tend to get a little boring even if she is seeing family and friends. What is there for people her age to do at them? She usually found something to do listening in on people gossip. She loved to know what people say about her. She hated when friends talked lies about her behind her back. Lucius too must be another that had a lot of fake friends. Never knowing whom you could trust with your deep dark secrets,
Narcissa had stepped closer to him peering at some of the trophies behind him, but she couldn’t make them out threw all the grotesque dust encrusted upon them. “ Did I disturb you? You looked as if you were lost deep in thought.” He had to have been. Lucius graduating this year surely had to have a lot of pressure riding on him from his parents. Her parents already seem to push her into thinking about the future, but how could she? She was still a child, but has grown into a beautiful young woman. Right now her main focus is shopping and playing hard to get with the boys.
Should she have to think of the future right now? She had a few years before graduation. Her eyes trailing him up and down she must admit he had grown up to be a fine young bloke and he surely would make any woman’s heart melt. He had to have loads of woman lusting after him. Just like the males seemed to try to win her over, but she has only been on a few dates and that is all. Narcissa secretly had a crush on Lucius, but she never told anyone except her diary of course.

[It's fine ]
Lucius couldn't help but stare at her so. She was just so breathtakingly beautiful that it made him want to cry how he couldn't hold her in his arms. She could be his little baby doll forever, and they could cuddle close and have each other to lean on. He could become a Death Eater and she would follow him every step of the way. Their families were close and it was like they were expected to be with each other that way, though it was never implied by statements or looks or anything of the sort. Their families, though hoping for a marriage between Lucius and Narcissa, knew that they couldn't force love upon the two. But, for Lucius, they didn't even have to.
The question that she asked hit his ears hotly and made him want to scream. Oh how he longed to just tell her flat out how he truly felt about her. She was so beautiful, kind, and wonderful to him. But no matter how much he probably could've tried, she might have turned him down. It was really the one thing that scared him about telling her his feelings. Although she had time to think about her future, he however did not. Lucius was to graduate that following year and would be expected to marry a nice, pureblood wife who would support him in becoming a Death Eater. It was one thing that separated Narcissa and himself, because he knew that if she chose to be with him, that she might be choosing to be with him forever. And he didn't want to force that option upon her unless she would want it to be forced on her.
"Umm..well.." he began then sighed. Lucius gave up, and knew he had to talk to her about it. He gulped silently and ran his fingers through his blond hair, then locked eye contact with her. He took another step forward then put his hand out to her, about to lead her over to the couch near the window if she would allow him. "Can we talk?" he asked gently. He wasn't going to force her to choose that day, or even listen to him about a relationship. But if she would allow him to speak his mind, maybe there was a chance that she wouldn't detest his feelings. Maybe, just maybe, she'd feel the same.

Narcissa had been pretty close to Lucius now seeing as she had closed in some of the distance. For the past few years since they had attended school together and they both matured, they had continued to be friends, but she sometimes wondered what it would be like to date him? One fear of hers was getting her heart broken into shards by him. How would it look if one of the most popular girls of her class got shot down for a date? That had to have been why she decided to not ask the boys out and to have the boys come to her. It was flattering when loads of males ask her for a date, but only a select few had gotten anywhere with her. Did playing hard to get help with her status of being one of the most sought after beautiful females in Hogwarts? She had her rivals there too.
Narcissa coughed slightly as the dust had seemed to be getting to her, but she didn't want to leave. She was here with Lucius Malfoy, that would be any females dream right? She thought even those that were not of their house and class had a crush on him, but merely for his looks right? Sometimes she thought maybe her family pressed upon her marrying a respectable young lad such as himself, but marriage should she be thinking of that? Could she promise forever to someone at this age? She wasn't sure if she could.
Lucius seemed as if he were a little frustrated or perhaps a bit nervous, but why? His hands ruffled threw his golden blond locks and looked her straight in the eye asking if they could talk. Wasn't that what they were doing now? Exchanging words? She wasn't going to blurt that out of course."Of Course." Lucius held out a hand for her in which she had taken it as he led her over to the couch that had been in the room. Why there was one in here was beyond her. It could be for the students to sit and view the trophies of this musky old room.

After proposing the question to her of talking, he had realized how foolish that had come out. But he shortly forgot all about it as she took his hand and he led her over to the couch. He sat down, putting his head in his hands. He was trying to figure out a way to explain to her how much he really did like her. How he could express that he wasn't like the other boys who were trying to get to her just because she was beautiful, which she surely was. How was he supposed to put into words how he wanted her to be his, but only if she wanted?
He sighed gently and looked up from his hands to stare into those wonderful eyes. "Narcissa...I know that you're only fifteen. And I have really strong emotions for you that I can't even explain. But I just need to tell you how I feel..and know if you like me too. I know that it's hard for you to feel the way I do for you, but I just need you to understand that I want to be with you. I would stay with you for the rest of my life if I could, but I know you're too young to make the decision of that right now. So..do you think...we could start by...going on a date? I don't want to ask you straight out to be my girlfriend because it might be rushing things..but we could take it a date at a time and..." he finally stopped. Lucius breathed and sighed, knowing he had rambled on and on trying to make one point. He looked at her as he thought how ridiculous he must look.

Narcissa had been led to the couch and smoothed her robes down once Lucius had let go of her hand and she sat beside him wondering what he wished to speak with her about. He seemed as if maybe he were slightly nervous by the way he placed his hands on his as if he were working up to tell her what he wished to speak with her about. She took out a deep breath her as she waited to see what he wished to speak with her about. Did he know she had a crush on him or something? Did he want her to stop daydreaming of him, because it was never going to happen? She sat their patiently as she waited for him to speak. Narcissa folded her hands and placed them on her crossed legs, she always was lady like. She surely wasn't a tom boy like some of the ladies that looked as if they never heard of a brush or proper robes.
Lucius began to profess his feeling for her and she was rather shocked that he actually liked her. Was she dreaming? Could she possibly be asleep and dreaming all this up? Narcissa bit her lip slightly as he looked in her eyes telling her of his feelings and promising forever to her, but she wasn't sure if she could handle forever, but the thought of taking things on date at a time and seeing where things lead was an idea, but she was still rather taken by surprise about this whole thing. She couldn't believe that Lucius Malfoy was asking her out. " Are you kidding me?" She asked. Was he for real about dating her or was this some kind of joke? Had someone found out she liked him and set her up for heart break when he says it is all a joke? Would he be that nervous if it wasn't true? She would have to take her chances.
If she did start dating Lucius Malfoy she surely would make all the other gals jealous now wouldn't she. She had to sit there and think on this. Looking him straight in the eye as well, he looked as if he were serious, but they all were taught to have a cold heart and not to let their guard down really. He had to be telling the truth and she wouldn't mind dating him and see where things lead seeing as she is fifteen and had some maturing left to do. Sighing slightly as the breeze blew threw her hair. A few loose strands blowing in her face.
" To be honest with you. I have had a crush on you for a while now, but never thought that you would have feelings for someone like me. I am younger then you are and thought you surely would be interested dating someone of your year. Surely you get loads of date offers, but if you wish to give this a try then, the answer is yes. I would love to accompany you on a date." Now it was her turn to ramble and it was true she would love to go out with him, but where would they go? Surely their parents would love it if they heard that the two of them have started dating, but as for right now it wasn't as if they were boyfriend/ girl friend kind of deal. They would work their way into this relationship seeing as what if Lucius ended up not wanting a girlfriend whom was still suck in school when he wasn't.

Oh what would she say? To all of those words that had released from Lucius' lips, he felt ashamed and pathetic. He really should've kept his feelings to himself because she had too many guys after her. She was sure that she wouldn't chose him after all of the other Slytherins, and even other house males, chasing after her like she was some kind of snow leopard. It was like she, the snow leopard, could strut beautifully and all the other male snow leopards couldn't help but purr in her presence like a little cat. He sighed, lifting his head from his hands to look at her. Gawd, how beautiful she was indeed.
He listened to her ask if he was kidding, and knew he had blown it. Lucius' head dropped and he felt ashamed. He had been rejected by the most beautiful girl in the school. He sighed, knowing that he probably shouldn't have said things to rashly. He should've calmed down and took deep breaths, then told her how he felt in words that wouldn't make him sound like a love-crazed lunatic. He gulped gently and as the silence went on, he couldn't help but feel like he ruined any chance between the two of them that they could ever have.
But a spark flew up and a firework exploded in his heart as she began to speak. They weren't words of rejected either, they were words of rather...acceptance. He smiled as he looked up at her, listening to her words. YES! She would go on a date with him. Narcissa Black would go on a date with him, Lucius Malfoy. He beamed as he kissed her on the cheek. "I would love to take you on a date," he said, smiling at her. His eyes held a light of joy about them, but of course he couldn't see this. "Do you want to go out tonight?" he asked, just wondering. If she was too tired then they could wait, but he was just so excited.

Lucius surely had to have thought she was going to reject him after she thought he was pulling her leg. Poor guy looked all heart broken when she had went all silent, but it was rather sweet that he professed his love for her. Sure, it made him sound as if he were one of those love sick fools, but this is Lucius Malfoy here? How many times has he ever admitted his feeling for a girl? Not many if any. Narcissa really was not expecting him to be into her seeing as he is older more matured, then herself he was sure that he would have wanted someone his own age.
Narcissa herself wasn't one that admitted to having crushes on any one either. It was a secret she kept buried to herself and it wasn't as if she would talk with her sister about this stuff either. Bella would only laugh at her or tease her of her crushes in front of the hole house and the males she had a crush on. A reason why Narcissa kept those sort of things to herself. Bella really did take Slytherin to a whole new level, but Narcissa was proud of Bella even if she didn't show it or tell her she was. It wasn't as if their family is into the whole musky stuff like some of those pathetic mudblood's. How she despised them and their pathetic ways.
She was so happy she felt as if she would burst this was like a dream come true, but she seriously didn't want to rush thing nor be too clingy that really would ruin things, and Lucius surely would be turned off by that. He had kissed her upon the cheek which made her grin with pure joy asking her if she wanted to go out tonight. She put her hand finger upon her cheek as if she were in deep contemplation about going out tonight. Where would they go? What would they do? They after all were at school, but that seriously hadn't stopped any students from sneaking off the premises.
A Sly smirked appeared upon her lips as she turned to look directly at him." Well, that depends where you are taking me and who is going to do my homework?" She stated, a small chuckle following. How she hated doing homework. Like she really would need the stuff after hogwarts. She surely was liked because of her beauty and not her brain's, but it wasn't as if she were a complete ditz. She was sure the news of them going out on a date would surely spread like wildfire around the school and the common's.
Watch Sirius twist this whole thing around and say she is pregnant or say she is dating someone else behind Lucius' back. He loved to prank them so it seemed and she wouldn't put it past him to scheme up some lies with his best mates. How she hated those blokes and wished they would disappear. Would Lucius be able to deal with any of the lies spread of her? Sirius surely would hate to see either of them happy. A lot of the times it was just gossip of jealous girls. The thought of those possible lies and all the gossip made her sigh, and frown slightly. She surely could let her guard around him down right?
