Name: Lauren Samantha Blackwood
Age/Year: Sixteen/Sixth
House: Gryffindor
Age/Year: Sixteen/Sixth
House: Gryffindor
History:
Before Lauren:
Her Parents were both from different houses, her mother was a Slytherin and a Pureblood and her dad a Ravenclaw and also an half-blood, making them not really like each other at first.
In their fourth year, her mom felt slightly lonely than usual and unexpectedly, started to hang out with people from other houses. Half-Bloods and Purebloods only and of course, she avoided Gryffindors. That's when she met Lauren's dad, John that was a Ravenclaw, same year as her.
They started dating a year after they met. They had so much in a common, and the most important thing was that they could really trust each other, thing that for Hannah [her mom] was rare, since her Slytherin friends were a bit fake.
Lauren was born on the fourth day of November in 1958, in London. Her childhood was pretty good, away from any kind of arguing or any kind of wars, she had an elder sister, Emily. Their childhood was pretty good, her mom usually bought them candies and other sweets, their dad told them stories before they went to sleep. However, their mom still had that 'pureblood mania', and tried to teach that to Emily and Lauren, with Emily, it worked since she was sorted into Slytherin, but not with Lauren, since she *hopefully* sorted in Gryffindor.
Lauren's best subject was Charms and her worst subject was History of Magic, but did the best she could to have a normal grade at it.
Personality:
Lauren is very patient and honest. She usually says what she thinks and why she thinks that way, which sometimes, makes people dislike Lauren. She thinks that everyone should mind their own business, so when anyone tells her what to do or how to act, Lauren usually doesn't take it in a good way and sometimes she even calls them nosy.
Lauren is physically and mentally tough for a girl. She won't burst into tears for anything, not at all. She might do it at home or with a close friend, but in front of anyone? No, no way. It isn't shameful for her, it's just not her way to be. Lauren also dislikes scenes or anything that involves too much people for her taste, basically, she dislikes crowds.
She's usually a nice person, and likes to help others. Lauren only refuses to do that if that person is someone that hurt her or hurt her friends in the past. She's has a few, but true friends, for those people Lauren would do anything.
Her biggest weakness is that Lauren thinks that she has always look strong. Never show if something hurts her or makes her feel good. Probably because Lauren thinks that she's safer if she does that, at least it worked with her rivals at school.
Lauren is a selfish person, she admits it and is proud of it. That annoys many people, but she doesn't care if those people aren't important. She is only willing to share if it's really needed, because her common sense is bigger than her selfishness. However that selfishness is still a bit hidden, it has to be something big for you to notice.
When it comes to new ideas, Lauren is the best. She's a very creative person who loves to write, read and sometimes even paint. That's probably her best feature, but of course her creativity has bad days.
Lauren is the kind of person that can be very nice, but if you annoy her she will probably snap at you, or hex you if she's in a bad mood. For the people that she dislikes she has a blank expression, but, if she's in a good mood, Lauren can be almost charming, but they only have to slightly annoy her once to make her say something not-very-nice. The only thing that can stop her of start arguing is if the other person can give Lauren something that she wants, or if s/he can hurt her somehow. If not, well Lauren can be really arrogant with the brat if she's in a bad mood.
Appearance:
Let's start with her hair. Lauren has light blonde hair that is usually curly, but sometimes she has it straight. When she was young Lauren usually died it black, but then she thought that it looked better blonde, so she stopped dying it. Usually her hair is at her shoulder-length, but when she's depressed Ruby lets it grow to the middle of her back.
Lauren's eyes are blue, they turn dark blue when the room isn't very lighten. The special thing about her eyes are that they reflect her mood and thoughts a way better than her facial expressions. When she's happy they have a sparkle, for example, she can look very serious or normal, but if you know her, you can tell if she's happy or not. However, if she's sad, that sparkle disappears, when Lauren is sad, she spends a lot of time staring at something, not that she is interested in it, but it's because she's worried or sad about something.
Lauren dresses normally, but a bit classic. She often wears a scarf and other clothes that are a bit lady-ish. However, she won't take walks to do any job that she has to run with those clothes, of course not. That's why she has other clothes that wears for those things, for example some comfortable boots, jeans, etc...
Side: Good
RP Example:
Hogwarts was the place where Ginny felt better. Even though the war didn't seem to end soon, making her worried, Hogwarts was the place that calmed her down, especially the Courtyard. It had a nice view to the mountains, to the castle, etc... Ginny just needed to find the right place to sit, then all she had to do was watch the students, watching everything.
After Dumbledore's death, everyone seemed more quiet now, of course Ginny was no exception, she was still the Ginny that everyone knew, but that dead shocked everyone, of course they knew that he was getting old, but no one could imagine he would get killed. To say the truth, that scared her a little, Hogwarts without Dumbledore was unthinkable a year ago and now he was gone.
A cold breeze hit her face gently, it was getting cold since it was almost night. A few first years were playing at something that Ginny had no idea, "It must be a new game that someone made up." she thought. How bored she was to try to find out what they were playing. Ginny even thought of going talk to them, but then she remembered that she had to read a few pages for her History Of Magic homework. At least that homework was just read, no writing, no practicing, no nothing, making everything easier for her. Ginny opened the book, looking down at it, after finding the right page, she started to read the first lines.
