Remus went with the other students to one of their regular trip to Hogsmeade. Once he arrived, he made his usual stop at Honeydukes to buy a sweet or two. But when he looked through the windows of the Three Broomsticks, he felt there were too many people at the moment. Even if he was with the most popular guys, he never liked to throw himself in a crowd.
He instead wandered around the village, stopping in front of the shrieking shack. Near the barrier encircling it, a couple of young third years looked at it. "It's the most haunted house of all England." the guy said, making the girl shudder. Remus couldn't help but smile since he knew the sounds people were taking for poltergeists were his in fact. He looked at the young ones leave as he approached the barrier and looked at the shack. It nearly looked peaceful at the moment, and even if the house seemed in ruin, it wasn't as hostile as he was seeing it from the inside.

He forced his way through the children(well, they were younger than himself right?) towards the front and found a couple of at least somewhat desirable sweets. Once again, he found himself faced with a line, but he desperately wanted the candies so he waited, and waited, and... Oh, the front of the line. He paid for the goods and carried the small brown bag out. He hated kids. Once outside he opened the bag and pulled out a sucker, which he promptly unwrapped and stuck in his mouth. Then he walked towards a certain shack. The Shrieking one to be exact. Of course, he knew that this was really Remus Lupin, but still. Some small part of Sirius enjoyed the legend he was helping to make, enjoyed being an unsung hero of sorts. When he reached the fence, he noticed a smug looking Remus leaning upon it. "Remus, love, what ever are you doing out here?"[/ul]
