Remus walked into the library, looking around at the crowded tables for somewhere to sit. He finally spotted on in the back next to a set of bookcases and sat down, putting his bag in the chair next to him. Laying his head down on the table, Remus closed his eyes tightly as he sighed deeply.
After sitting like that for a good fifteen minutes, Remus raised his head and turned to his bag, opening it and pulling out his History of Magic textbook along with a quill and ink plus parchment. He turned back to the table and put his things down then opened the book and searched through it for the pages he needed for the three scroll assignment.

The library was full and Lauren hated it. There were just too much people for her, besides she couldn't find a place to sit down and do her Charms essay in peace, sometimes she wondered why Lauren didn't do it at the common room, but then she thought "Whatever." and continued to look for a free seat. After almost tripping on a chair, Lauren saw a free seat in the back, near a set of bookcases. That seat was good, since there were few people there.
Lauren walked to the seat, sat down and put her bag on her lap. She took the Charms Book, a piece of parchment and her quill out, then she put her bag on the floor. Even though that Charms was her favorite subject, she didn't feel like doing homework, but Lauren wouldn't leave now. It was hard so hard to find a good seat, that if she left, she would be nuts.
In the middle of this thoughts, Lauren noticed a boy sitting next to her. He didn't seem to be interested in homework either, who could blame him? Lauren sighed and looked down to her parchment, not sure what to do.

Remus raised his gaze as a girl sat next to him and smiled weakly, looking back down at his book again he finally found the page he needed and grabbed his quill, reading over the words written on the page then wrote them down on his parchment after dipping his quill tip into the ink bottle.
Scribbling away, Remus managed to look at the girl next to him and decided that maybe it would help both them if they could talk to one another while working. So he cleared his throat slightly then looked at her again "Hey" he said softly.

Lauren was trying to convince herself that she really had to do the friggin Charms essay while looking down to the parchment, when she heard a voice that was probably talking to her.
Lauren raised her head to the boy next to her, the one that seemed to be in the same situation as Lauren. "Hi." she said with a slight smile. "I'm Lauren Blackwood. Nice to meet you." Lauren presented herself while pulling her hand out, it was good to have company, maybe the time would go faster.

Remus smiled at her, shaking her hand gently then placed a soft kiss on the top of her hand "Remus Lupin" he said politely, looking back to his book and frowning at it then looked at her "I can't believe they gave us homework on such a beautiful day" he said tilting his head towards the window with bright rays of sunshine pouring in. "Its just not logical" he continued, smiling at the Lauren "What do you think?"

Lauren was a bit surprised when he kissed the top of her hand, since many guys didn't do that, but she liked it though, because Remus seemed to be polite.
"I think that you're right, and the library should be less crowded." she said to him. "Well, at least there are many students in our situation, so we don't feel alone." she said with a small smile, it was actually a bit stupid what the teachers where doing, it's true that they had to study, but that much?

Remus nodded his head, agreeing with her "Yeah. I mean shouldn't they be out playing quidditch or something?" he asked, looking around at all the other students. A good portion of the other students were working on their homework but a good majority of them were talking loudly and goofing off.
Shaking his head, Remus returned his gaze to her and smiled "I'd rather get my work done early but even I don't want to work on History of Magic. Its too...boring" he said rolling his eyes as he shut the book and shoved it back into his bag.

Lauren shrugged, she didn't know about Quidditch, since she just liked to watch and hated to play. "They probably should be there, but with so much homework to do, I doubt that they have time to do that." said Lauren, feeling lucky to not be in the Quidditch team. "Gosh, at least they could be a less hysterical. Where's Madam Prince, anyways?" she said looking at some fourth year girls that were laughing loudly.
"Oh, you hate History of Magic too?." she asked him, History of Magic was her worst discipline. Fortunately she stopped taking it this year because of the O.W.L.'s.

Nodding his head, Remus smiled at her "Well I don't hate History Of Magic its just...its too boring to do and well I can't really concentrate on it right now for some odd reason" he said putting his quill and ink away then looked at her. "Besides I have a few more days to get it done. I'm sure the guys haven't even done theirs yet"
Looking around the library, Remus yawned tiredly "As for the other students being so loud I'd have to agree. It's really getting annoying how loud it is in here. If it gets any louder then I'm going to leave"

"Well, I hate it and I think it's boring." Lauren said with a slight smile. "Besides, Professor Binns doesn't help us at all." She said with a shrug, and it was true since every class was the same.
"Yeah, me too, maybe I will go to the common room if it doesn't get better." she said to him, even though that usually there were a lot of noise in the common room, it seemed a lot better than the library.
